The installations of wax and wire grew like sprouts or an infesting fungus across the walls of the gallery. Unlike their natural counterparts, the forms grew in formations seemingly charged with energy and emotion. The clusters of growth created intimate spaces to draw viewers into them even as they expanded outwards to activate the empty space of the walls. A little uncanny and a little whimsical, the installations played with the spaces in between—between walls— between people—between human and inhuman.
